When I was a kid, I wonder why I was born in a small town and not in a big city. At that early age, I thought that the city is more fun than a rural town. Going to the city was a big deal because there were so many exciting things to see: the tall buildings, the neon lights, the traffic, lots of people, parks, cinemas, huge shopping stores and various forms of entertainment.

Back in my little town, we don't ride a jeepney or taxi but a tricycle or sometimes a bumpy carabao cart. But it was fun… Continue

I really liked Bansalan, and the Davao Del Sur area a lot more than Manila area.
When Rodalyn and myself decide to retire the Davao area would be my first choice before any other in the Philippines. The only down side I see in Bansalan is I hope they can improve the streets and have more job opertunities for it's citizen's in the future. I noticed most have to travel a long distance for working.

I was in awe of the life of the Mindanoian Tao. There is very little technology but yet the way they live and work together with nature made me jealous for their life. My fiance is part of the Abordo family in the Poblacion Uno Barangay. I am hoping she will get her visa in July. I want to retire to the Philippines someday, perhaps in Bansalan . I liked your market square as well, although I never saw Squid, or Manok, raw laying on a table before. I am going back to get her when she gets the visa. So I will probably be in Bansalan again in July.
